Do not join Oakhurst!! Pregnant woman request roadside at night in Jozi- no assistance!!

<p>I have paid Oakhurst over R20 000 in premiuims and the one time i really needed help they left me to the streets. This past Friday was a cold and rainy night in jozi, My battery died and at 6pm i called oakhurst for assistance, i was told that within 15mins a driver would call and in maximum 1hour i will receive assistance, an hour was a long time to wait considering the crime in jozi, in my pregnant state i felt vulnerable but waited for the call. I got no call from a driver and an hour past, when i again had to call them, i was put on hold and then still Oakhurst had the guts to tell me to wait for a call, i continued to wait now scared as it was in the night, again i received no call and had to call again where i was told the driver had"cancelled" and oakhurst was looking for another driver, i was told it will take another hour!!! At this point i realised im gambling with my life and the life of my unborn, its honestly disgraceful!! Then why claim to have roadside assistance then leave someone for over 2 hours, its dangerous and unfair! One pays for insurance for peace of mind, for uncertain events, R1100 per month and all i ask is one day of 2years to be assisted!! Do not join this insurance, i have so much regret! </p>
