Debiting from my account after cancellation
On Friday, May 29th, I took out insurance with Oakhurst Insurance. The insurance cover was to begin on Saturaday, May 30th, after picking up the car from the dealership. On Friday evening the same day after taking out insurance I called Oakhurst and spoke to a Chantelle, I explained to her that unfortunately I will not be buying the car anymore due to unforeseen circumstances and would like to cancel the policy, she understood and told me it was cancelled. On Saturday morning I received a text from a Pamella Sigonyela letting me know that she's going to be my Oakhurst Policy consultant, I was surprised because I was under the impression that my policy was cancelled the night before. I picked up the the phone and called Oakhurst, I spoke to Pamella Sigonyela and explained the situation to her, she also - just like Chantelle - assured me that I shouldn't worry because my policy is cancelled.

On the night of the 02nd of June I got an SMS notification from my bank informing me that a debit order of R105 has gone off with Ref OAKHURST PLAT952658 INS PREM ***.

I'm really disappointed because I thought I was talking to professionals yet they didn't cancel my policy.

fix this!!
