confusing insurance

after the said company's client pleaded guilty to causing an accident with my daughter by making an ******* u turn on a road, we were requested to get 3 quotes to repair the car after their client being a "taxify" driver said that he had 3rd party insurance with oakhurst insurance. after receiving the three quotes oakhurst insurance then made it clear that they had 60days in which to pay out. the 3 quotes were between 45k and 54k. they rep**** again only when nagged and offered a settlement of +-R8000.00 using some sort of equation that i tried to understand but can't. they obviously know that they have the legal and financial power to fight the ordinary man that can't afford to stand up to them.a shame on them
