hi was not asked a direct question upon joining and when I had a claim they said I undisclosed information, if the question was asked properly I wouldn't have this problem other insurance companies ask u direct questions and do not beat around the corner

We confirm that you instituted a claim which was subsequently declined based on the fact that you did not disclose a previous conviction when the policy was underwritten. Due to your failure, your insurer was unable to assess the insured risk correctly.
During underwriting, you were asked whether you have ever been convicted of any offence. You asked the consultant to clarify, to which the consultant asked whether you have ever committed a crime or was convicted. You responded by saying no. The consultant could not have been more direct when asking the question.
Taking the above into consideration we cannot fault the insurer in declining your claim.
