Bad service and still goin on...

I am highly disappointed in the manner which my claim is handled. 1. It was reported the same day it happened and I sent all necessary information 2. I was sent to Benoni for assessment and never received an answer, after a week of calling Oakhurst I was referred to Renew It in Bedfordview. 3. My claim was then on hold and no calls were made to me, unless I followed up to get feedback. On the 4th JAN, I was told they need an accident report , which I went to collect and send to Oakhurst. 4. On the 5th of January I was told my CLAIM is approved - the consultant told me their panel beaters were closed, in that case they will pay me and I need to get a registered panel beater to fix my car – of which I agreed 5. I acknowledge my access fee of (R5000), and the money was saved the whole December waiting just for approval. but was only phoned back 5 weeks after the accident . 6. After few days I was phoned again by another consultant, telling that there are exclusions and I needed to pay (R5000 Excess fee and R2752). I have requested a breakdown of all the costs…up to this day I have not received any information. 7. I specified and clarified with the consultant on the 10th January that I have now used all funding I have including the excess fee saved to register my son at College as the claim was taking too long to be resolved. 8. The Oakhurst consultant told me it was now my problem and I need to contact the panelbeater and make arrangements…they have approved they claim I must make a plan. 9. I also received a call from the panel beater to say my claim is APPROVED I need to book the car. I explained to them I do not have the excess fee money as it was beyond what I expected. They said they will put the claim on hold as they can only release the car when the money is paid in full. (which is understandable) I am still driving a dented car and paying my insurance, Waiting for a breakdown of costs which for over a week now…. I will warn every individual I referred to Okahurst with this BAD service and experience i m enduring ….
