Absolute Shenanigans

The car wouldnt start this morning so called our so called insurance company for roadside assistance, what a joke!! It took them over half an hour to verify that the policy is active, they kept insisting that the policy was cancelled despite the fact that a payment had never been missed. When the rude and inept consultants eventually verified the policy they promised that they would send some-one out and woul call back in a feww minutes to update us. Two hours later no call back and we are still waiting, despite repeated calls into the call centre the rude consultants wont help. Oakhursts customer service is a myth, they have no clue what customer service is. Am absolutely disgusted at the contempt with which they treat their clients. ?If getting a jump start is such a nightmare one can only imagine what the process of lodging a claim would be like. I wont stick around to find out!!

Dear Buhle
We sincerely apologise that you felt that the service received from our call centre consultant was bad. However, according to our records you do not have comprehensive vehicle insurance with us. The last policy that you had with Oakhurst Insurance was cancelled in 2013.
Based on the above you are unfortunately not entitled to any services and/or benefits from a cancelled policy.
You may contact us should you wish to re-instate your policy in order to qualify for benefits such as our Roadside Emergency Assist.
Kindly take note that had your policy been active at the time of your call, we would have gladly dispatched a service provider to come to your aid.
Kind regards
Oakhurst Resolutions Team
