1st Claim Disappointment

PLEASE BE WARNED!!!! Oakhurst Insurance / 20sure will make life a misery over a simple claim. I loaded my 1st claim and I literally got the shock of my life with how things are done by Oakhurst.

On the 16th of January 2017, I put in a claim to get my rear "back" windscreen replaced with Vuyani Maloyi one of the claims consultant from Oakhurst, I had to constantly call them to request an updated regarding my claim and when will I get my window replaced, only after a week of constant calling and pestering my claim was authorized through PG glass on the 25th of Jan 2017. Yesterday I took my car in to get the rear "back" windscreen replaced and only to find out that the wrong window was ordered, so I immediately called my Claim portfolio consultant Lindokuhle Mathyila, which was a mission to get a hold of her because she was busy on another call from 10:00am till around 13:00pm, so I left a message for Lindo asking that she call me back, I called in again and spoke to another claim consultant whom I explained everything and she couldn't assist me, so I left a message once again. At 13:00 I called and finally got a hold of Lindo, the Initial excess I approved to get my window replaced was R1100 so with the mix up of orders there is an additional R600 that I now have to pay to get my rear "back" window replaced, so my problem is that this was obviously miscommunicated by the Insurance to the fitment centre or some sort of staff error so why should I pay an additional amount for an error that was done by the Oakhurst claim consultants.

On top of that I requested all my recording because Lindokuhle said I never specified which window I wanted replaced "how is that possible though?" so I requested all my phone call records from the 16th of Jan( on the day of my claim )and to my surprise I am still waiting for those recordings because apparently all the records will not be made available before they are reviewed and pre-authorized by the claims Manager. My other concern is that don't Insurance institutions always guarantee and say "Please note that all calls are recorded for quality and maintenance purposes and all call will be made available to you on your requested " ?. Oakhust must clearly specify that all calls will be made available after review and authorization from the Managers, since this is how they deal with requested recordings.

Can someone please advise, on a way forward besides driving around with a smashed window, since my insurance is giving me the run around??
