Worst service
I really wish one could give a less than 1 star rating for service, as that is what I want to do. We were in Greyton on a one night stopover on a 8 day cycling tour. Oak & Vigne Cafe was recommended by the owner of the lodge where we were staying. Upon arrival we were handed menus, approximately 10 minutes later our drinks order arrived. This should have been our que to get up and leave. But we pushed through and placed our food order. We ordered Cape Malay tomato stew. Which is a dish that is clearly pre made and that should arrive in good time. Unfortunately for us, that was the last time our waitress was seen outside where we were seated. My husband wanted to order second glass of wine and eventually got up and went inside to find someone te serve us. He came upon the owner, and asked if he could please get another glass of wine. After another 10 or so minutes another waitress picked up on our body language and came to the rescue. She promptly brought the wine and also checked up on why our food has not been brought to the table, even though we were by then at our table for more than 40 minutes. Our food was brought to the table 10 minutes later by the new waitress. Unfortunately I did not get her name as I really would like to compliment her for picking up on tour discomfort and actually making sure that we got our food. In closing I can say that the food was very tasty.
