Buying a house is a complex process. Many of the agents that you deal with are sub-par in terms of their knowledge, have a rude, condescending approach or expect you to be a property expert and are frustrated by your questions. We had even gotten the impression that some at other agencies didn't really want to sell to us. Laura Lattanzio-Joubert is a different kind of agent! She assisted us in finding a property that met OUR needs, budget and plans vs. what was available on the books. She was very helpful and professional during the process. However the differentiators came in after the deal was concluded: Laura went above and beyond in order to ensure we were comfortable, checked and liaised with service providers to ensure the property remained in the best possible condition and that even before handover everything was in order. It was less like a transaction and more like she was selling her own house to us with the concern and attention to detail that she showed. Laura is an excellent communicator whether it is sharing information about the process, VERY quickly sharing information received from seller/attorneys/service providers and keeping things moving forward. This contributed to a deal concluded in record time and also registered in record time despite the seller being in another country. 10/10 I would actually only want to buy a house from Laura again in future.
