Extremely poor service from Fezile Mtlomelo

I received extremely poor service I received from one of your estate agents, Fezile Mtlomelo, concerning the sale of my property. From the onset, the experience was deeply frustrating. It took Fezile Mtlomelo over two months just to list the property, and nearly a year before the sale was finally concluded — a process marked by delays, misinformation, poor communication and dishonesty. I was forced to sell at a loss and ultimately incurred a financial debt. Meanwhile, properties in my complex listed by other estate agencies, even months after mine, were sold quickly and without so many issues. When I inquired about the delay in listing the property a full month after our initial meeting ,I was told by Fezile that it was due to "election season" and a "dry market." This was despite my clear instruction that I hoped to sell the property before moving into my new home six months later. He assured me repeatedly, “Don’t worry,” which I later came to realize was his default response to every concern rather than a genuine plan of action. He responded to all my concerns with "Don't worry". After speaking to another estate agent, I was informed that properties can and should be listed at any time, buyers do not stop looking simply because of elections. Throughout the process, Fezile was consistently dishonest, failed to provide any meaningful guidance, and left me to discover essential information on my own — often when it was too late to make informed decisions. Key details were either misrepresented or entirely withheld. I cannot say whether this was due to incompetence or simply a disregard for my situation in pursuit of commission. When I eventually escalated my concerns to Terreen, she made a genuine effort to assist, but by then, it was already too late, six months had passed, and I was moving into my new property. To highlight just one example of the dishonesty I encountered; in October/November 2024, Fezile Mtlomelo informed me that the buyer was getting married in December. This later became a major issue, as the buyer married in Community Of Property, which caused significant delays. When the attorneys asked him in January 2025 about whether he had advised the buyer of the implications, he denied even knowing the buyer was getting married, contradicting what he had previously told me. Two of my neighbors who are currently considering selling their homes recently asked me to refer them to the agent who assisted me. Based on my experience, I advised them to avoid using your agency and shared the details of what I went through and the agent I was dealing with.
