Rotten/off Chicken

I ordered a Kids meal at O Peri Peri in Edenglen at Lunchtime today- ordered a small chicken strips and chips for my son. When we opened the food it smelled terrible, after having a bite it was sour too. This was absolutely disgusting for the price of R40, where I received 5 rotten chicken strips and a couple of chips. <br> Upon calling the restaurant I was told to return the food either today or tomorrow and I would receive something for compensation. This could have been handled completely different. If I were in their position I would offer to collect the food and give the money back.<br> It is gross.<br> What would have happened if my child had to eat the food and gotten sick? Would they have payed for his medical expenses. <br> As a well known restaurant I would expect them to check their food before cooking it. As the area where my food was prepared could be contaminated too and what happens to the next person who eats this food?<br> <br> ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!!!!!!
