Tampered mileage

My husband and I found three cars at Nyando Motors, so I went to check them out. The one car had been in an accident, which they disclosed to me. The two other cars I came to look at were not on property, and I had to wait for them to bring them from their other lot. All three cars were listed online saying they had a full service history. None of them did in reality. Each time I asked, they said it was a mistake.

We really liked the one car, so I took a picture of the VIN number. [ALWAYS do this on a car you are interested in! We learned our lesson!] My husband looked it up, and it looked clean! No accidents, wasn't ******, etc....We saw it had a service plan to 90,000 and it was only 91,000. We thought we would give it a chance! Today my husband called VW to get the service history to make sure it was serviced up until the 90,000. Much to our surprise, we learned the car mileage was actually 180,000 km! It was 90,000 km in 2015. The mileage had been changed.

Needless to say, we did not buy the car, and were very thankful to find out this info before we made a big mistake.

Moral of the story, don't trust Nyando Motors.
