R-E-S-P-E-C-T for Health science department

The registration period is the most frustrating time from the use of technology and long queues seeking placemen for the undergraduate. I was in this exact situation as a mother of young boy who wish to continue with their studies at North West University. I learned that as human we have normalized complaining about poor service delivery and taking videos to social media to get attention of some sort and on the flip side we lack appreciation and gratitude towards anyone who exceptionally perform their duties diligently.

I came for registration with my son and upon arrival we met a wonderful lady named Hestie at registration who referred us to health science department since we had conditional offer on course that is full already. Upon arrival at health sciences we met with Mr Dillion Maepi and Ms Anthea Gaanakgomo guiding us based on choices of study we wish to register for and what is available at that time. Both personnel are kind, passionately serve with integrity. Their level of professionalism and work ethic it's outstanding. We left that office received final offers and placement together with necessary accommodate information. To management You have a wonderful team and mentally strong individuals. My son even said to me North West University Potchefstroom feels like home already. In my observations I realized they did not only assist us fairly because we are parents accompanied our children instead they showed the same amount of respect and fairness to returning students who also needed assistance. I'm grateful for the support from your staff, indeed they represent not only health science department but the entire North West University Potchefstroom outstandingly. I have nothing but R-E-S-P-E-C-T for all these individuals who ensured that we get help needed and made us feel at home. It is my wish for management to recognize greatness within their mist and give them flowers while they can smell them. It is rare in South Africa to find employees who are intentional about their work to serve without being supervised and still perform their duties perfectly. These are the people to keep, motivate, support and cherish because they are golden. I'm looking forward to the next four years my son will be studying with you, as North West University alumni am excited to witness his journey as a supportive parent this time around.From the bottom of my heart, would like to thank the stuff on the ground for their selflessness to carry our emotions and frustrations effortlessly.
