The account was unpaid since December 2009. At that time, the total balance amounted to R1886.23. The account was handed over to lawyers for collection since the North West University (NWU) was unsuccessful to collect any contribution. No agreement was entered into between the complainant and the university to settle the outstanding amount.
The NWU took note that the complainant would like to settle the account and the university has keen-interest to see the issue being resolved to the satisfactory of all parties involved. We therefore request that the complainant liaise with Nkaiseng Attorneys with a view to settle the amount at a rate which is both affordable to the complainant and which will not cause the outstanding amount to increase.
The complainant engaged with Nkaiseng Attorneys and according to the complainant an agreement will be made.
