NWU VTC On-Campus Residences

NWU On-campus residences particularly Thuthuka and Kumba residences and its management have proven to be nothing but *********** towards their duties. For starters, due to the lack of competence, I was moved to a disability unit (Kumba) as management cancelled my residence application without my consent. I was later moved to a different residence within the on-campus residences ( Thuthuka) where i was given less than 2 hours to move all my belongings in the rain as a blind student had to move into the room given to me. Upon moving to this particular residence I came to the realisation that my unit doesn't have a wifi router which makes it the only unit in the whole of on-campus residences and units to not have efficient connectivity (which my bursary paid for). Lastly, not enough electricity is provided for this particular unit and management refuses to increase the amount of electricity given to us as we are 3 in the unit and not 2 as all other units within Thuthuka.
