NWU North West University, not worth the stress! save your money

NWU doesnt care about distance students! we are paying and not getting education for free yet we are sidelined and treated like trash.

now its exam time and NWU has done a number on the distance learning students. my complaint is about how the decided to change venues abruptly, last minute and inform us that we won't be writing second opportunity exams at the venues we are used (ones that are close vicinity). they instead make it compulsory that they only have 19 venues available for second opp exams and we must either take it or leave because "they can't do anything about it."19 venues in the whole of south Africa, my closest venue is 297km from my place of residence, the exam starts at 09h00am!!! how the heck must I get there? who's gonna give me money to get there even?

it doesn't end there, I have sent emails of enquiry regarding the issue because I know i'm not the only student student who's going to suffer because of this, and no efforts have been done thus far.

This university is very unprofessional, there are always complaints about how they handle students issues, especially distance students. they take time to resolve queries and don't even care what you might be going through at that moment.

I regret registering with them, I trusted their credibility but they are unprofessional.
