NWU

I have trouble registering for my MSc degree due to the new system that is being implemented at the NWU. My registration is on hold due to my previous degree's examination results still not reflecting on said system. I have gone through several channels to try and correct the problem, but to no avail. I keep getting vague explanations from administrative personnel and now I'm told that I have to wait until April to apply for 2026. The NWU expects their students to have the magical power of seeing into the future and to act accordingly. I have been accepted as a research candidate at one of the schools only recently, but am told that I should have app**** for said degree almost 7 months prior to me being accepted and while I still had obligations to my previous degree. Note that this was not the case just a year prior and a student could apply and register for a new degree within the same academic year.

I tried going to the administrative department at PC to sort out the problem, but I'm sure that not a single person actually works there. You are met with several "closed" fliers and empty offices throughout the building and the few actual staff members hiding behind walls and pillars within their offices. These staff members also do not seem to understand any of our country's beautiful languages because they all have the same blank and confused expressions on their faces when you try and talk to them. I have reached the end of the rope in trying to get assistance. It's absolutely disgraceful.

I'm sure that this will only get worse as time progresses and that this complaint will fall on deaf ears. Prospective students be warned.
