Be careful when registering for distance courses.
The institution recently made the move to remote testing. Guided by AI . AI isn’t perfect so students can nolonger go to the bathroom for example they will be flagged. Under normal testing conditions the student would be able to go to the bathroom or look up to the ceiling or even sleep on their desk due to high stress, that is nolonger possible in fear of getting flagged. Had I known this I would have never signed up for their distance course. After a flag even if you are innocent, you have to rewrite on short notice pending an investigation no false flagging would happen in real life their move to online Invigilator is meant to mimic real life. International students are still required to have permits for exams that are nolonger needed to be written in person which doesn’t make sense why would I need a meningitis shot if I’m not even required to be in the country to write the exam. The fees haven’t been adjusted for data requirements required by the application for example the cost of good internet is now at the peril of the student whilst still paying the same fees. Before a coding exam the lecture did not upload the QR code required that expires ? We got it at the last few moments in all this stress you are still required to perform. Today our results where promised at 12:00 that did not happen an email was sent saying they are there still not there now I’m just stuck in a state of panic
