Bad service delaying our furture.
Good day, we had a bad experience with NWU.... We received a bursery with the department of Education to do our Grade R Diploma in 2018....our first year went off well the 2nd year was chaos... In 2019 we handed in our RCDP211 assignment s at a learning center and in the interim the assignments got lost with the couriers, for first semester there was no marks on the DIY service portal.... We had a group chat with our facilitator and asked what the issue was with marks.... The facilator did enquire with NWU what the problem was but no feedback was given from NWU..... The facilitator advised that we go and write our exam anyway without having first semester participation marks.... Second semister came and exam results was on portal but no participation mark was there, therefore we failed the module.... At a later stage 2 NWU staff members joined our watsapp chat and they advised that we escalate our query to ***, we did that numerous times with no response from NWU and eventually we got a response and they said we must re-write the exam for second opportunity.... However we did not write the exam for second opportunity because we did pass the assignments... when they eventually found the assignments all NWU had to do was add the mark and update it on the system but it wasn't done... I also want to mention that three assignments got lost in 2019 first semester but only RCDP211 assignments were not updated which was very strange.... In 2020 our final year our RCDP211 query was still not resolved we were sent from pillar to post and with no luck... In 2021 we requested our academic record and it said we failed the RCDP211 module.... So from 2019 until 2021 no response no help from NWU the admin staff just didn't care... the NWU staff members on the chat didn't care they just said send your query to the *** email.... Eventually in 2021 February an angel by the name of Patience Moleko assisted us with our RCDP211 query.... I just want to mention her because she went all out and investigated the matter and really showed concern and our query was resolved, thank you Patience....we were offered the bursary from the department of education to do our B. Ed.... We filled in the bursary application form at the learning centre.... We were then waiting for NWU response as they were still rectifying our academic record and that is how we missed out signing for our bursary contract to register for our B. ED..... We feel very disappointed in NWU as this query has delayed our future plans of studying further and will be wasting a full year. Very disappointed Nadia Parker and Merice White.
