Bad service and attitude from the begin till the end!

To whom it may concern

Heard so much about the university being a good university. But I beg to differ. The attitude that we get from the agents and stuff when calling is appalling!

On the 28 th August I called to inquire spoke to a lady by the name Glenda who was willing to assist but could only do so much and transferred me to a lady by the name of Chriselda in distance learning department(Online applications). I had explained that I have trouble logging in. And could not apply online. She explained to me how it works but still with no luck could not get through. Which I did try and do the whole process on my still failed.

I later called back and when she picked up she had a bad tone and informed that she had been with me on the phone the whole morning, which I did not take kind of , at all. Very bad attitude. Anyway she did manage to take me through it.

Later on the that day, I went online and could review the whole application. to my surprise there spelling mistakes and had to fix everything. I was not happy at all, because with the attitude she gave me I would have though the everything would be fixed and ready.

Few days later I checked online which stated I was conditionally accepted. And with the acceptance I sent emails and called trying to find out what it meant and what amount is payable and the venue. i had 2 different responses, 1 stated I have to write a test and the other was in a form of an email stating "Good day You will be conditionally accepted until you pay the minimum amount. The amount for 2018 is R 8720.00 B.Ed is R22140.00 per year. Confusion, do I write a test or do I pay? This was on the 21st September.

Later on the 26th September received an sms of where I should reply with ID number and location, which I did state my ID and location as Johannesburg.

On the 11th October received an sms, for admission test, date; 20 th, in white river, payment R200.

To my suprise White river is in Nelspruit, which I stated on a recorded line and with an sms that I reside in Johannesburg.

The very next day I called, have the recordings to prove it, I was put from one line to the other with no concrete feedback. even spoke to another lady(Megan) with a bad attitude. Who then told me that I was the one who place the incorrect details the work according to what they see on the system. I politely asked if details could be rectified she said, no, all papers has been printed. So what about the sms i sent? and what about the fact that I was assisted by on of her colleagues to do the whole application? And as far as I remember I did not state that I stay in Graskop but Johannesburg.

Fact is I cannot drive all the way to Nelspruit to write the admission test and this led to me not being admitted at all, as I was told it cannot be rectify and I cannot do anything further.

I have all the emails and call recordings which I will share on social media regarding the whole ordeal of a failed application and how it occurred.

Will NEVER recommend anyone to this distance learning ever!
