WATCH REPAIR NO: 78809

I purchased a watch at your NWJ Tygervalley store in Cape Town in December
2015 as a gift. I took the watch in to be repaired as it fell in water. It
was handed in on the 20-02-2016 with Sade. I was totally disappointed by
the lack of communication. I had to constantly follow up and was promised
on all occasions that \someone\" would contact me AND THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I
was told last week that the watch was going to be returned without being
repaired as the damage was too bad. a total of R700 would need to be paid
for it to be fixed. a cost of a new watch. it is nearly the end of April.
The time it took for the watch to get to head office in Durban and be sent
to repairs had already caused water vapors and evaporation to take place
within the watch which could have been sorted had it not taken your team
three weeks to \"determine' the problem. This really upset me and I will be
taking this further. I was willing to have it repaired same day in Cape
Town but was told by Sade that it was still under warranty. I constantly
purchase at this store but am totally disgusted in the lack of attention
and customer service given to me."
