Tampered watch and Rude Lady

On the 1st of August 2022 I took my partner's watch to NWJ to have a new battery installed. They told me it costs R295 and would have to wait 14 working days. I counted 14 days, called back and told me it wasn't in yet. Called a week later, Kerusha the rude lady at the Watercrest Branch answered and told me that the watch has been in the store the entire time because it now would cost R600 and something to fix the watch. I asked why she hadn't bothered to call me and let me know because I've been waiting for so long for it. I went to the store during my lunch break to find out what was going on. I get there and the whole entire story has changed, she took what seemed like forever to find my details, slips and receipts. I asked to speak to the manager, nowhere to be found. She then went into her office, made a call and told me the watch is at the repairs and will be coming in next week Tuesday (30/08/2022) Tuesday comes, I go into the shop hoping to find a fixed watch, but nope!! Still not ticking. The face of the watch has been damaged (the hour things is moving around and is out of place) clearly it has been tampered with. She hands me the money and tells me that they couldn't fix it. They had a problem with opening it but clearly someone did tamper with it and open it. Firstly she says it came back because they couldn't open it and were unable to fix it then later changes her story to they brought it back because I wanted a refund which is lies. They don't call you as to let you know what's going on, Kerusha was rude and unassisting and a terrible ****. I asked for the manager, not there. I asked for a contact number she didn't give it me. Even went as far as asking for the head office number she didn't want to give me that either. That's when I got upset and raised my voice she gave me the number and called security to escort me out of the store. The embarrassment. I'm fuming because Kerusha wasn't helpful and was very rude and didn't take me seriously with racial remarks her friend were saying under they breaths. Why was the watch tampered with but then lie and say no one could open it when clearly it was opened. I'm upset and disappointed NWJ Watercrest branch I need to know what happened to this watch as a lot of the things aren't adding up. She ****, was rude, not helpful and even went as far as throwing in the "black remarks" just because I was on to her.

Never ever again will you ever see me at NWJ but then again I need answers for the watch. I feel ******
