SHODDY WORKMANSHIP

I dropped off a gold necklace at NWJ at la Lucia Mall first thing Monday morning to be repaired as the loops on either side of my name plate had almost worn through (wear & tear). I asked NWJ to kindly thicken the +- 2mm area that was worn so that the loop was all one thickness again. Today I collect the necklace (R180 later) only to find that the one loop is perfectly round and of a consistent thickness, however the other side was a complete mess making an oval shape in the centre of the loop and of 2 totally different thicknesses which in turn will force the chain to ware to the side of the loop as well as not allowing the chain to hang correctly? Is this the shoddy workmanship we have to live with in this country? Yes they offered to send it back however I did not want to be inconvenienced for another week without my sentimental chain. The very least they should have only charged me R90 for the one side that they correctly repaired. I'm extremely unhappy!
