I have a bit of concern concerning the quality of a ring valued by NWJ at over R30 000.
This ring was given to my wife on 29 April 2023 on our wedding day.
She only started wearing the ring then and does not even wear it everyday following issues she experienced with her engagement ring- also bought at NWJ.
The morganite stone is already loose and shifts about, there are already about 6 stones missing for a ring my wife literally only wears when going out to work, shops etc and then takes off when she returns home.
This has obviously left a bad taste in my mouth especially considering that some of these issues were experienced with her engagement ring. We just thought that it was because she wore it too much cause she never took off that one. Now this ring seems to be in a worse off condition yet she doesn't even wear it as often as she did her engagement ring.
I have sent email following the channels under which this ring was purchased and have yet to receive any advice , response or unsettled. My mother was a loyal fan of nwj for years and by virtue of this i too look to this shop for all our jewelry purchases. I am really disappointed
