Poor service

Three weeks ago I left my broken gold chain for repair with this company. The lady assisting me asked that I take off the very small cross that was hanging on the chain and keep it myself so only the chain went for repair. There was nothing wrong with the clasp. I paid R300 up front for the repair. On Thursday 30 th I called to collect the chain, and asked if they would please put the tiny cross back on the chain for me. Well it could not be put back as the clasp in this chain is far too big. When asking why the only responses were 1) I should have left the cross in the chain when it went for repair; and 2) I could send the chain and cross back so some plan could be made to make it fit. This at my expense. No apology no offer to make it right. I am disgusted that they think they can treat a 74 year old like this AND I will never use them or recommend them to anyone henceforth.
