NWJ does not want to give me my refund!!!

I Purchased a ring from NWJ in Brooklyn mall on Sunday and when I got home the person I bought it for just put it once and didn’t like it, so I took back the ring to NWJ Brooklyn mall and the store manager checked it out and then tell me she can’t take it back because it has scratches of which to my mind how can it have scratches yet ring was only put on once, I know it’s not a lot of money I used but it’s still a lot to me and I want my refund because I couldn’t bring it back because I was not working for me to go to Brooklyn worse off all I have only had ring with me for 5 days !!! Now am told I must contact customer care and the lady at customer care tells me I must wait for her reply and there office is closing at 4pm today since it’s a Friday. This is totally unacceptable and to even make it works store manager tells me if u calling you can even go outside and make a phone call. Where is customer care here????
