Faulty bracelet

On Saturday 2 April I purchased a pearl bracelet at your Westville, Pavilion branch. As it became detached from my wrist every time I wore it, I returned to the branch on Saturday 9 April to enquire what could be done about the magnetic ball clasp not holding the bracelet together. I was advised to have it replaced with a bolt ring but, much to my dismay, was told \they will charge you\". I fail to understand how NWJ can manufacture and sell a bracelet fitted with an inferior clasp and which would have got lost sooner or later. What is the point of fitting a clasp which does not hold the bracelet together, making it a useless item of jewellery. It is equal to buying a car with a door which does not lock. I find it ********* and unacceptable that I should be expected to pay to have a bracelet, which was not wearable, made wearable."
