Engagement ring not fixed. Engaged for 8 months and only have my ring for 5 months.
To whom this may concern.
After 8 months of engagement, 5 ring returns. Two lost stones and many tears, i have decided to finally take things further.
On the 18th of December 2016, my Fiancé proposed to me with the most beautiful white gold princess cut ring with a Tanzinite stone cluster. I wore my ring for 10 days and the stone lost. I took the ring back on the 28th of December 2016 where they said that their head office is closed for the December holidays and i would get my ring back at the end of January 2017.
I got my ring back on the 20th of January where the claws were just fixed. You could see where they melted the metal to stick the claw back on and replaced the stone.
Around the 20th of Feb, i had to take the ring back as the same claw broke and the stone fell out again. I took the ring back the next day. At the end of March i got the ring back and had to return it the very next day as the claws were already scratching and the one claw was loose.
I spoke to Ramona at head office and she promised that they will make a brand new ring and replace that Tanzinite stone with a Saphire. She said that the reason that the claws keep on braking is because the Tanzinite stone is too soft and they could not make the claws strong enough to hold it.
I received my ring the following week with the Saphire stone.
I had to take my ring back again in the beginning of August as the claw snatched again. When I called Ramona at head office, she said i must send the ring back. After the ring was sent back i waited two weeks and contacted her again as i heard nothing with regards to my ring. When i spoke to her, my ring was still on her desk and not looked at. She had a quick look at the ring again and said that she will have them make a brand new rung as this one has been worked on too much... according to her conversation back in March, that was a new ring so it has never been worked on. . .
Never the less, i asked her to please check the ring before it came back to Tygervalley to see if the claws are scratchy. She said that there is no scratch in the claws or any of the other stones.
When i went to Tygervalley to pick up my ring yesterday, my heart and my faith fell into my shoes. The claws are scratchy and the ring is not rounded off. It looks like a plastic ring.
Megan that was in store at the time was very helpful and said she would ask her manager to have a look and see what we can do. As NWJ (Ramona) did not want me to choose another ring to the same valye of my ring as my Fiancé baught it on a special. I can only choose a ring to the value of what he paid. And NWJ did not want to give us the money for the value of the ring to go and buy at another store. I could only get back what my Fiancé paid.
I am so heart broken and dissapointed. I have been engaged for 8 months and i cant wear my ring. I wanted to go buy our wedding bands at your store but that will not happen.
