Nuts to You Too

I was looking for the best price for 1 kg Roasted and Salted Almonds near me and came across www.nutsaboutyou.co.za and their advertised price (on 30 June 2021) was R153.00 per kg. I was busy filling my online basket and decided not to be lazy so took a drive to their shop in Douglasdale. On arrival I asked for the almonds and was told the price was R285.00 (86% more than advertised) and when pointed out to the manager, he went on line and confirmed that I was right. But rather than say, "you may have the advertised price", his response was, "I must get them to change it, it's the wrong price". No apology, nothing. So I left and went to my usual supplier in Cedar Square where I spent more than R700 on nuts. Hardly likely to recommend or ever go out of my way to go there again. Don't understand why some people go into retail?????
