Overall bad experience with Nutritech

I bought several Nutritech Whey Bars 2 weeks before the expiration date. The very first 1 I ate did not taste anything like the flavour it was meant to be at all. Nonetheless, I kept eating them as I am trying to bulk up and need to get as much protein. In fact, I had to eat the bars with a cup of coffee to disguise the taste and moisten the dry tasteless object they call a protein bar. It was the 4th I had eaten that actually caused diarrhea and really upset my stomach. I still have 3 bars left and I wouldn't even feed them to a stray dog out of fear that it might choke on it or die of dehydration from the diarrhea caused by the consumption of their bar. I emailed them and they literally told me that they are aware that the quality of their products decline as it approaches its expiration date which is exacerbated when not stored correctly - FROM THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE. This poses 2 problems, first should they not shorten the shelf life of their bars. Second, my items were stored in a cool dry place as per instruction. So why still the decline in quality???? I really did not expect much from them when I went through and brought my experience to their attention, but they did not even seem to be taking my complaint seriously nor did they take any responsibility. Their mal-practice has caused me real discomfort and their lack of willingness has caused me some serious frustration. Even if they had just said "Here is a R100 voucher - go try a couple of fresh ones" I would not have been so annoyed and in fact would have tried buying different ones - especially considering that I spend lots of money on bars, shakes, supplements etc. and this was my first time trying their bars. But the fact that they just took no responsibility and then completely overlooked the fact that their product almost caused me to **** myself while getting groceries in Spar is just unacceptable. In all honesty I am not sure why I am even bothering typing this complaint as there are 6 other complaints against them and only one has been responded to.
