In 2018 I was applying for loan consolidation online as I was over indebted and in financial strain.

A company called "NUFIN" accepted my application and advised me that I will be receiving the loan to consolidate within a week, I had asked for R30 000.

No money came through and a couple of days later my account was debited an amount of R1400 by them , when I enquired they told me that I will have to pay them for 3 months before they could lend me the money. I then reversed that debit order and requested the bank to stop it.

Weeks later I discovered that they placed me under debt review, this brought me do much confusion and frustration, I tried contacting them and requested them to send me a copy that said I agree to debt review, they told me that I agreed online as I was applying and if I wanted to remove my name under debt review I will have to pay R1800.

I didn't make that payment as I could see that they are ******** and I have been stuck with this issue ever since, my credit score is ruined and limits me to getting sustainable employment.
