NU WORLD HOLDINGS (SUNBEAM PRODUCTS) RECOMMENDED DUE TO EXCELLENT AFTER-SALES CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had purchased a Sunbeam Vacuum sealer over a year ago, but had always kept it in pristine condition. Suddenly the vacuum started coming on, on its own and flames and smoke could be seen from the side of the machine. The sealer part of the machine still worked perfectly, I had in fact very seldom used the vacuum feature, which required the depressing of the left side of the machine vs the right, for the vacuum. Not expecting to receive much help, I called Game as I had purchased it from them. Without the original receipt, or box, they were unable to assist. I then called Nu World and got through to Miemie van Wyk in Customer Service who was extremely helpful, and advised that I go back to Game and advise that Nu World would take back the sealer as it was their product. I took the product back again, and only due to Nu World's help, did they exchange the product. They did however test it first and noted the flames and smoke and vacuum that did not shut-off, even when the lid was up. They noted too how clean and pristine the vacuum sealer was and could see it was very well maintained. Thank you Nu World and Miemie van Wyk for showing that exceptional Customer Service DOES indeed still exist, where companies appreciate the consumer and will do all they can to assist. Your help was most appreciated.
