After 3 and a half months, the product came. They mascarade as a South African company but they are actually based in Hong Kong.

I purchased this product based on its bold claims of regrowing gums and treating gingivitis, with Hy****yzed Collagen as the star ingredient. After looking more closely at the ingredient list, I was disappointed to discover that Hy****yzed Collagen is actually the LAST ingredient listed — meaning it is present in the smallest possible quantity, potentially less than 1% of the total formula.

The bulk of this product is made up of Corn Starch, Sodium Bicarbonate, and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) — a completely standard and unremarkable base you would find in any budget toothpaste. Ironically, SLS is known to irritate gum tissue, which works directly against the product's gum health claims.

This practice is known in the industry as 'fairy dusting' — adding a trendy ingredient in a negligible amount just to justify a premium price and dramatic marketing claims. Regrowing gum tissue is a serious medical claim that requires clinical evidence, and a trace amount of topical collagen in a toothpaste does not come close to delivering that.
