SCENEVIP is a ******* and a sham!

I wanted to spoil my sister-in-law for her birthday by taking her to watch Braven in her first SceneVip movie experience at the V & A Waterfront on Sunday 1 July at 14:15. Well, I can honestly say, that this experience was anything BUT VIP! Firstly, my friend tried to order a bottle of the house wine before our movie started. The staff simply rang up a more expensive bottle of wine and then told her, after the fact, that the house wine was out of stock. She then declined the bottle and came to sit down. I then went to the counter and thought I would spoil her with the more expensive bottle, but was asked to join a very long queue. This caused me to miss about 15minutes of the movie. There really should be somewhere for guests already seated, to order from. I was then told that the wine would be brought to us. After waiting for 35minutes, I finally had to get up AGAIN, to find out where the wine was! I missed more of the movie. I was told that they were looking for stock. When the wine finally arrived, the movie was very close to finished. The wine was also brought along with two dirty glasses that was carried in his hands by sticking his fingers into the inside of the glasses, not on a tray.

The SceneVIP tickets are not cheap. When you pay for a VIP experience you expect one. I was very disappointed and embarrassed that my friend had to be treated this way on her birthday. I hope that this is not the general standard.
