Refusal of Service on my Birthday

It is with great disappointment that I have to write this complaint. On my birthday the 20th of September, my partner and I arranged care for our baby and head off to watch a much anticipated movie. While the movie started at 17:45 we could only arrive at 18pm to buy tickets. When we got there the cashier refused to sell as tickets saying they are closed. I approached the manager to ask how is this possible the movie started only 15min ago. She instructed the cashier to sell us the two tickets. The cashier, Bonita Davies, had a bad attitude and straight off warned me that I better have cash otherwise she can't help me. Luckily I did as I usually use my card. I offered my NuMetro clubcard for her to swipe but she refused to do this and just ignored me. When we wanted to order drinks and popcorn, we were then informed that since they are closed she will not sell us any refreshments. At this point I was furious and very disappointed and had to ask the tickets be cancelled (who wants to go to see a movie without snacks or drink!). This is just ridiculous since it was 18:00pm on a weekend and while the lady could have helped me, she outright refused, spoiling my birthday.<br> <br>
