Public Liability - slip and fall claim

On 02 January 2016, I went to Nu Metro Grandwest with my family. As we were about to sit down, I slipped and fell on a ditch situated at the seating isle. I fell on my left knee and was in excruciating pain throughout the movie. When the movie finished we left the cinema and was confronted by one of the managers on duty who was concerned about the fall. He says that they were notified. He subsequently notified the Grandwest Centre Management and paramedics. Grandwest subsequently handed the case over to Nu Metro . I have to constantly email and follow up with people for an entire month with regards to processes for a public liability claim. on 28th January 2016 i receive a call from the Finance Manager at Nu Metro. He then asked me \what amount When i called on the 29th January i was unable to get hold of him and let an email for him on the 2nd February 2016 after not having any response. I feel humiliated for being bargained with and Nu Metro having the audacity to assume that i am after money."
