Not accepting mobi codes

Friday 27 February was the third occasion that my wife and I wanted to watch a movie at the Woodlands Nu Metro theatre that we were informed they could not accept payment via mobi codes. They were however, able to accept cash payments. The excuse each time was that their system was offline. We are getting the distinct impression that they are trying to discourage customers with pre-paid mobi codes. Nonetheless, accepting that their system was really offline for the third week in a row, it really becomes quite a detriment to them doing business and they will be losing patronage. At a previous occasion we could not redeem a reward via their passport system becuase the system was offline. Fortunately the Menlyn branch helped us. I suppose more people will opt for Menlyn and Woodlands will struggle to survive.
