NO MOVIE

Saturday 11th of July 2015. Bought tickets and snacks @ Nu-Metro, Menlyn Pretoria. When we entered the Cinema at 09h30 it was completely dark, the movie was supposed to start at 9h30. Only after 45 minutes did one of the staff come and inform us that they are having technical problems due to load shedding the previous evening (which is not true!! there was no load shedding, it was scheduled centre work). Eventually after complaints from the very upset customers did they offer to give refunds, however we had to stand in a queue for an hour and a half (only one till was open, ran repeatedly out of cash) They only offered to refund the snacks if we hand back the snacks which we bought (half eaten). The Manager didn't even have the decency to come and talk to the customers, he only showed his face after most of the people left. They could have advised the customers that there is a technical fault and that the first shows are suspended, so that we could at least go to another cinema. The wasted everyone's time and there were parents with disappointed little kids who were in tears because they couldn't watch their movie.
