load shedding

On Saturday 14 February 2015 my daughter and her boyfriend went to watch 50 Shades of Grey at Galleria mall. They went to the 12:15 show. Around 2pm the power went off due to load shedding. They never finished watching it and weren't given a refund or anything. Surely if they knew there'd be load shedding they shouldn't have sold tickets to that screening. What can be done about this as this is unacceptable?
