Do not give your CVV code when booking telephonically!

I tried to book a movie telephonically with Nu Metro using my Sanlam Reality benefits and was asked for my card number as well as my cvv code. This was absolutely ridiculous to me and I immediately got suspicious as this is South Africa and credit card ****s are rife. I told the Nu Metro person that I do not feel comfortable giving that information and proceeded to complain to Sanlam. Sanlam then called the same sales person and theyn Sanlam contacted me saying that it's Nu Metro's policy to ask for all of this information. This makes me extremely worried and that is why I decided to come to hello peter. People need to be aware that they can lose all their money if they pass this information!

Nu Metro, I am completely disappointed in your services. If this is your policy, you should change it! All someone needs is your card number and cvv code to buy online and literally wipe out all your money and nothing will be done because by giving that code, technically the person is authorizing such transactions.
