Appalling treatment and belittling of staff by Andre Basson

<p>I was at nu metro Hyde park last night, and the manager Andre Basson, was shouting and belittling staff in full view and earshot of customers. </p> <p> </p> <p>I went to watch a movie last night, and they was a staff meeting of some sorts in the area, but you could hear this man shouting and belittling staff, without them saying a word, it is very dishearting if this is how management treats their employees, as some were even in tears, as an HR professional I can say this will never be tolerated anywhere.</p> <p> </p> <p>I asked one of the staff whats going on there and they said he was the "big boss" Andre Basson, I find it appaling and absolutely disrespectful to not only customers but everyone there as human beings, no one should be shouted at like that, this was not a meeting this was a session of belittling and demotivation, I for one will not be returning to Numetro if this is how they treat people, with totalitarian authority and demeaning everyone.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will also be letting everyone know about this, no one should be treated in this manner. We are all human beings and if Numetro condones this, then they should be reported to CCMA as this goes directly against the labour relations act.</p> <p> </p> <p>We have been through a lot as a country and seeing this again, makes me feel sad for South Africa, as major businesses will throw staff under a bus just to make a few extra rands. </p> <p> </p> <p>I will NEVER visit a Nu Metro again, all because of the "Big Boss" Andre Basson, and this is a shame as I have been going to Hyde park for decades now, and have always had good customer service and have met friendly staff.</p> <p> </p>
