Appalling experience at Canal Walk cinemas

Hi. I would like to write to you about our incredibly disappointing visit to your NuMetro cinemas in Canal Walk. It was my daughters 12th birthday and my wife booked "Alice through the looking glass" on Sunday 26th June.

We collected tickets, and bought a popcorn and slushi each more or less. This was the first shock that it came to R289.00 just for the snacks, insane. We should have rather bought pizzas, or burgers, rather than waste money on the overpriced snacks

Next we were told that our movie was showing a cross the way at the other side of the
Cinemas. So we made our way across.

At one of the salt tables we all put salt on the popcorn, when the bottom opened up of one of my daughters friend's popcorn box. So I went to the kiosk to ask for another box to change it for, and I was told they cost money so they cannot replace the broken box. I called the manager, and had to wait a while for a supervisor to arrive, who agreed to change the box. No understanding of "helping the customer" at all.

When we walked into the cinema at 5pm, it was filthy. No cleanup had been done, and all the previous popcorn boxes and drinks were still left on the seats. Absolutely no clean up.

Finally toward the end of the movie, the lights were switched on, as though the movie was over. So for the finale of the movie, we had to watch the last 10 - 15 mins with all the lights brightly lit....

I will not be visiting your cinemas again, and I seriously advise that you chat with your tenant about the service they are offering at your Mall. You claim to be bringing world class tenants and brands, but NuMetro leaves a lot to be desired.
