Telkom account cancelled - new one opened without my consent or knowledge

I sold my house and cancelled my Telkom account over 3 years ago. I have all the proof of the cancellation and the account was all in good standing. The new premises I moved into does not even have a landline and yet I am constantly being harrassed by this company for a Telkom debt I do not have. No one from Telkom has contacted me with regards to any new contract and I certainly have not requested a new account either. I did not agree or sign ANY new contract?

I pulled a credit report for myself and see that Telkom non the less seem to have kindly created a new account and pushed through an initial payment request without my concent or any communication from them? How am I now liable for their incompetence and this continued harrassment from Nu Debt?
