NuDebt reported to POPIA Compliance Regulator

I recently saw a debit order from my bank account. I logged a complaint with the bank and after investigation they provided NuDebt website and contact details. I don’t have any business or ever heard about this company. I don’t know who gave them my details including bank details and authority to debit my account. I decided not to waste my time calling and having arguments with them about the issue, I’ve logged a POPI Act non compliance with the regulator to take necessary steps against them. As consumers in South Africa we are being abused and our rights are being trampled over, I am sick of it.
