NU DEBT and RAIN what a BUNCH OF RUTHLESS COMPANIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had RAIN in 2022 and cancelled the contract in December 2023. More than a month ago I got an sms from New Debt stating that I owed money on my Rain account. I originally thought it was a **** as the sms was so demanding with ZERO proof that I actually owed any money.

Rain had my credit card details and was able to get the amount that was outstanding and as far as I was concerned, I owed RAIN nothing.

I called RAIN and they told me that my account had been handed over and I asked them to send me proof but of course they never BOTHERED to do that. Added to this, in the 18 months that I have owed this money, RAIN NEVER CALLED ME so how am I supposed to KNOW THAT I OWE ANYTHING.

I kept on getting these threatening sms's and eventually I called this company Nu Debt as they put on their sms's. I was told that I owed money and I asked for proof. They never responded and then started sending me threatening emails.

I spoke to this bunch of idiots numerous times and they promised to send me proof but never did. Then they started calling me to harass me about the debt.

It got so bad that I eventually just paid the debt to RAIN on my RAIN account. But it did not end there, I am still receiving threatening SMS's that they are now going to mess with my credit score (which they have already done) and another telephone call where I stated that I had already paid and they are still sending threatening SMS's.

Please get off my back and stop the threatening otherwise, I am going to consult with an attorney and sue you for HARASSMENT AND UNFAIR LEGAL PRACTICE.
