Harassment of incorrect client

I keep on receiving smses stating that I need to pay an outstanding amount of R7000 for my tv licence. I emailed NuDebt management from whom I am receiving the emails and INFORMED them that they have the wrong person as my surname is SMIT and not SMIT. The ID number that they gave on the sms is not mine and also forwarded proof of payment for my TV Licence account as well as my account details for them to confirm. I was emailed by a call centre agent Veronica Raedani who provided me with the information of the person they are looking for and enquiring if it is me or the person is known to me.

I did not respond because I had explained everything in my previous email and gave them the information to confirm this on the SABC system. How stupid are you? This was in Nov 2014.

I have now again received the same sms (after 1 year) stating I owe them the same amount R7000.00.

Seriously no wonder SABC has so many outstanding debtors as the Debt Collecting firms they hire are useless
