Collection Agency - quick to demand money - Fail to reply to query

I was contacted last week via email by this company stating that I owe their client money. I have sent them countless emails back, tried to call. No answer, but they sent me a final collection warning. I have sent back 4 emails challenging and disagreeing with them. Their client never notified me of any owed accounts and its been 20 years!!
