Arrear TV Licece

About 10 years ago my son took out a TV licence as we could not afford it at the time.
Two years ago he moved to Johannesburg and my wife continued paying the licence. On 18-07-2014 we were forced to move to Swartruggens NW province due to financial constraints and are living with our second son.
We no longer have our own TV and do not need a licence any longer. My wife received arrear notifications this year and paid the licence thinking it was for the previous year not realising that it is in fact paid for the 2015 - 2016 year. We again got calls demanding payment of about R 20.00 or R 30.00 interest and we explained that this licence should be cancelled. Nudebt keep on harassing us on about a daily bases and refuse to listen to any reason. They now suddenly claim R 530.00 and threaten to take us to court!!!
Please stop these people from adding unnecessary cost and cancel this thing, we hardly have enough money to make a decent living and honestly cannot afford paying people phoning us for something actually paid in advance and no longer used.
