Almost impossible to pay my debt.

I was in Trauma Intensive Care about 1 1/2 years ago. As a result I took a huge financial knock and could not pay the portion not covered by my medical aid.

I paid it off as I could, but due to our company losing clients this was not always possible.

I have paid the biggest chunk of the outstanding amount to Unitas itself as I was not aware that I must pay NuDebt.

I had two questions:

1) Who their client is. I nearly double-paid as I wanted to pay the NuDebt account as well. Luckily (and this is absurd itself) for me, you cannot do an ATM payment into their account as the reference number is not accepted.

2) If they can contact Unitas to confirm that I paid them.

I sent 4 emails and made a call to get an answer on question 1. Eventually I did. How the heck do you not know who your client is?

No reply after 3 emails on question 2. Luckily I copied Unitas in the last email and it seems as if they will try to sort it out.

A collection agency / attorney etc is supposed to collect outstanding debt and finalise the matter.

As per my last email, Nelson delayed the process repeatedly. How can you retrieve money if you make it almost impossible for the debtor to pay?
