Account still open after paying off

I've always paid my SABC TV Licence every year without fail. this year's annual fee was paid on the 10th of July 2015 (My anniversary is June annually). having mentioned this there was some arrears in the account. I made arrangments with Thenjiwe to pay R265 which is the anual fee by the 15th of July the arrears will be written off. I did make the payment on the 10th July 5 days earlier, contacted the call centre but was told there's no such arrangment and that i still have those arears. i was then put onto Thenjiwe, more than a month after the payment and was told by her that since the recordings are more than a month old she will contact IT and will play and hear if there is such an arrangement. 3 Months after i'm still waiting for the recordings. i get call every day from call centre and no one has allowed me to take this up with new debt management, i kept being put on hold and eventually be cut off. I have told every single one of them that i am not willing to pay any more monies towards my tv licence as i have settled my debt. all i want from you people is the paid up letter or proof that my TV Licence is upto date.
